The concept direct took a trip down memory lane for this concept and revisited a previously run volleyball themed concept from RL’s 90’s archive. Refreshed with a bold and bright color palette in various knit hookups with pops of exploded graphics and prints made for quite a fun lively reinterpreted volleyball concept for pre-fall 2023.
Spring 2023 Polo Sport concept took on a vintage motocross racing theme whilst still incorporating touches of modern day. The use of various bright appliques, prints, and patches enhanced the retro feel of the group. Also utilizing various vintage performance feeling fabrics from waffle knit to sleek heavy weight polyester tricot fabrications rounded out the knits offering for this fun and colorful motocross Polo Sport concept.
A bright and bold take on outdoor mountain inspired concept was the approach pre spring/spring 2023. Emphasis on fun color layouts for rugbies, hoodies, and t-shirts to go along with large graphic prints to bring new life to the Polo approach to outdoor and hiking apparel. The incorporation of color-blocked tee’s featuring nylon pocketing made for functional layering pieces as well as vibrantly trimmed and colored hi pile full zip jackets and popovers featuring the signature expedition woven label. Majority of the other garments utilized a steel edged, circular, embroidered patch throughout the collection. Ralph selected a handful of knits to be displayed in his first ever show in California.
RL’s revamping of its iconic blue and silver label meant elevating the product while maintaining its authenticity. For the Holiday 2022 Original Label delivery, the concept drew inspiration from vintage collegiate ski imagery and apparel. A very light palette made up the colors for the garments offered creating a chic and warm winter white aesthetic. Vintage graphic wash technique’s, waffle lined hoodie’s and sweaters, and layering waffle henley’s were offered to round out the knits portion for this elevated yet cozy concept.
Fall 2022’s Polo Sport capsule took a more outdoorsy approach for the season and drew its inspiration from the iconic Red Rocks parks of Colorado. The vibrant landscape informed the bright palette for the season while being balanced with grounding earth tones. Incorporating new silhouettes from bonded fleece jackets with nylon trim to cozy hi pile hoodies — the capsule also offered re-imagined classic rugbies and fleece snap mocks to sit with the expedition themed collection.
RL’s revamping of its iconic blue and silver label meant elevating the product while maintaining its authenticity. Hence, for Pre Fall 2022’s Original Label we sought to revisit an old and timeless collection that Polo debuted several decades ago entitled “Chariots of Fire”. Originally this concept drew its aesthetic inspiration from the film “chariots of fire” in which olympic runners are seen running on the beaches of Scotland. Thus, this time round, when revamping the collection we were very mindful with our designs to maintain the same timelessly chic palette alongside with the right balance of distressing, weathering, and washing that we all fell in love with decades ago.
RL’s revamping of its iconic blue and silver label meant elevating the product while maintaining its authenticity. For Spring 2022, Original Label the inspiration was drawn from vintage rowing uniforms, styling, and detailing. For this capsule, specific patches, logos, and graphics were developed that would identify the group as the Polo regatta team (while simultaneously representing USA). Wonderfully classic garments with perfect wash, construction and fit is what the focus was and is for Original Label — paying homage to what makes RL so iconic.
A continuation of Polo Sport “Academy” previously developed in Fall 2021. This time round the intent was to animate and refresh the color palette to warmly welcome the always highly anticipated warmer weather and lighter, both in palette and in weight, dressing. While collection, and polo sport generally, was still inherently collegiate cool in nature — a few more street wear silhouettes were included which resulted in a more modern feel.
Fall 2021’s Polo Sport took on a collegiate approach to collection — merging some of Polo Ralph Lauren’s iconic aesthetics into the the modern and sportier hand of Polo Sport. New cozy hi pile fabrications were introduced for the season with the imminent cooler weather on the horizon. The collection also kept in the Polo Sport staples being our rugbies, track suits, and hoodies appropriately redesigned to sit with the theme of the group.
A capsule collection that my team and I worked on in collaboration with MLB and Ralph Lauren, seeking to combine the ultra classic color palette of Ralph Lauren with the likes of four iconic American baseball teams: The New York Yankees, The LA Dodgers, The St. Louis Cardinals, and The Chicago Cubs. In addition to these elements we developed exclusive Polo Bears, Chainstitch Applique’s, and Patches for this celebrated duo.

Polo Sport travelled abroad and this collection that I designed was captured in Japan, which interestingly was the first time RL had ever produced a shoot there. The emphasis for this collection was to stay true to the iconic colors of Polo Sport when it first launched in 1992, while bringing it forward onto the more modern RL silhouettes + color blocking layouts.
As Ralph Lauren is the official outfitter for the TEAM USA in the 2021 Olympics, I was fortunate to design the “villagewear” apparel for this years Olympians. Naturally, the emphasis was to showcase the patriotic and spirited palette of red, white, and blue while incorporating both Olympic emblems and Japanese script since the games are held in Tokyo.

A hodge podge of Polo Ralph Lauren product that I’ve had a hand in. Concepts such as “Color Shop” which delivered Spring 2021, “Countries of the World” which delivered Fall 2020, “Pink Pony” which delivered in Fall 2020, and various other core products.
A concept that I helped design entitled “Spring Training” that was inspired by vintage naval apparel with classic prep influences that debuted in Spring 2021.
A collection revolving around automobiles, both classic and modern, WISE GUISE initially came into fruition from both my father’s passion and experience in the automobile industry. Fueled directly from my bloodline, WISE GUISE demonstrates all the elements of automobiles that really rev my engine. Precise control, extreme refinement, and simplistic lines with hidden details, all can be found throughout the collection. Everything driven towards a tasteful ready to wear menswear collection that will appeal to all the other car fanatics out there.

A small fall // winter capsule collection created for Ralph Lauren. This collection aimed to reach out to a younger, cooler, more artsy customer. Through the introduction of five different shirt jackets, two different styles with distinct detailing. Silk rep tie fabric is to be placed in unique places for a bit of hidden flare to elevate these shirt jackets.

Summer 2016 Abercrombie & Fitch Intern project. I was asked to create a small capsule collection for the team I had been paired with — that team being Men’s Woven Shirts. I created a five sku collection, with two styles. The collection was inspired by the casualness and lightheartedness that summer brings — however still wanting to look put together and remain comfortable in the heat can be difficult. Thus, all the shirts in the collection are oversized and in lighter-weight cottons. To elevate them, contrast fabrics were accented in certain areas like gussets, sleeve plackets, and locker loops.
Banana Republic summer 2017 intern project. Created a six look project geared towards spring // summer menswear. Worked with fellow menswear designer Jesse Platero, who interned on the Banana Republic technical department. Together we created a pair of trousers that I designed and he spec’d out that featured all of the details, fabrications, and fit that we had planned. A sample was created and after the two of us pitched our projects to Banana, one year later a simplified version of the trousers went to market.
